When King Xerxes of Persia (Rodrigo Santoro, "Lost") invades Greece with his huge army to extend his vast slave empire, Spartan King Leonidas (Gerard Butler, "Attila", "The Phantom of the Opera", "Beowulf & Grendel") brings his personal body guard army of three hundred warriors to defend the passage of Thermopylae, while his wife Queen Gorgo of Sparta (Lena Headey, "Onegin") tries to convince the council to send the Spartan army to fight against the Persians. ♥
